Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Shane abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Serpent was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Spy. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
