Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She hates brigands. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bethrynna grew up listening to her father's many stories. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying south to reunite her family. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mamnen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mamnen. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
