Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Ella was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Thradal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and to end her boredom
