Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears tattered old clothes, and is pretty ugly. Her gray fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. This copper eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. River was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Scribe. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and money/treasure

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Bounty Hunter soon after.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He has a missing left arm. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His black fur is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has a dull look in his copper eyes.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Great was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
