History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Tomi alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Burgell is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

Personality: Pikar hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and retire the richest man in the east

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is a great chef.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. She sports chestnut long hair. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. The war was a terrible time for her, and Quilla does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Quilla was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a Beggar, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.
