History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Through the years after Shanairla was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Chay was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To clean up the streets.

History: Born in the east to a Locksmith, Rieta learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
