History: Thiala was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Sporting a brown mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. Her fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Knight arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: The child of a Painter, who enjoyed hunting, Zepar was taken on many hunting expeditions. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Varis has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She got into the Butcher business at a young age. A gifted student she started as a Scribe, but she got bored and became a Butcher. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
