History: Born in the north to a Merchant, Malquis learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Merchant and found it very stressful. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the east were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
