Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shax fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Emerald embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Veit was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and to reunite with her absent mother

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She has never given up on her painting dream.
