Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Barbena was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her childhood dream was to be a Guard, but she was a colossal failure. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Valanthe is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She became a Miller soon after.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His white eyes peer out from beneath his small green hat.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears a blue coat over a yellow low-cut shirt, and a top hat upon her head. Her silver hair is well kept. Her face is scarred and worn.
Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.
History: Bethrynna was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shoemaker and was forced into it by her family; and to reunite with her absent mother
