History: Paelias was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Animal Trainer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Animal Trainer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When Fonkin reached his early adolescence his Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Shivering was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Dyer. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: Lucan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.
