History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat and is in decent physical shape. Her black hair is well kept. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Oriff's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oriff fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and a deep hatred of goblins
