History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When Elegant reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Shamash hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many gnolls want him driven away

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Borun embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Borun was born with his mother's beautiful face. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to be a architect again
