History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Malquis has worked very hard to control her curse. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Curran was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
