She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Elama was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Astaro grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Astaro has worked very hard to control her curse. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for her, and Cask does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born in the east to a Cook, Cask learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cook. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Ortegar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Ortegar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He worked as a nervous Shoemaker and found it very stressful. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
