This search led her directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. During her travels, Hecat and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hecat discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hecat fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love
