History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Torbera was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Oppleby lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Aline alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Aline was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.
