History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. After coming to the age of reason, Veloptima took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
