History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Qemuel liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gimûb grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. The war was a terrible time for her, and Murgen does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Murgen was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Hagren will drive conversation. A true patriot, Hagren would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Hagren and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural dragonborn artifacts is his passion

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Oskar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Oskar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Oskar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Oskar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and many giants want her driven away

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Valida was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Valida's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
