History: Azaki hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Dariff lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Tordek was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Tordek's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Tordek and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Soapmaker. Recently the stress of being a Soapmaker has made it difficult for her to sleep.
