Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, her father struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Through the years after Gilkass was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gilkass's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Assassin born in the past three hundred years. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. A gifted student she started as a Courier, but she got bored and became a Assassin. She struck the Assassin job and began her own company from there.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Cartwright. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jane does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. She now owns her own business.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright yellow and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her blonde hair is knotted and matted. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She tends to her Shipwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His silver hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. A true patriot, Ivellios would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Ivellios was born with his father's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ivellios fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
