History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Vanuath and his spouse have recently divorced.

She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, marred by teas. Her long red hair reaches down to her waist. Her brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Expand her business; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Nirgel speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mialee embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered dancing. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
