Personality: Alvyn wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He's also a talented Armorer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and further expansion of business

History: Serpent lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to goblins.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She has all her life been fascinated with singing.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered singing. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bune embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Bune was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
