His mother taught him the rudiments of the Courier arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in sickle use. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sage. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Leaf lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
