History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Hobart was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Hobart's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her hair is cut close to her head. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and revenge

Description: This malnourished woman wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. She has wavy brown hair. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are blue.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Description: An older woman who wears a black shirt, with a violet mid length skirt with violet tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, she is not a threatening figure. Her hair is auburn, silky, and of moderate length. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: The child of a Junk Dealer, who enjoyed hunting, Murook was taken on many hunting expeditions. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: Richard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Voice: Gruff and masculine

Description: With yellow face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright pastel and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He wears a small hat to hide his balding. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Beggar for the past few years.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
