History: Born in the south to a Bookbinder, Trail learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. A freak accident while working with his Jeweler father left him crippled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by his family; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: Kody was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Server hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Jeweler again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Vicky was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Vicky's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now mingles about in high society.
