History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Emerald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and seeks redemption
