Her fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Moon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

History: She was born into a rich family. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sage.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has worked as a Bookbinder like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
