Manfred was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ida does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Ida was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ida's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Ida and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Adam took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
