Personality: Bernard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.
History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

She carries a battered halberd and tarnished quarterstaff as well. Her dark red hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: She is fixated on the number 35. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her music with anyone who is interested.
History: Aym was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her first spouse was a Performer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Performer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Architect, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Kasdeya hails from a village terrorized by giants. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: He was born in the south. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: To unite with his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
