History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Cloak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His first spouse was a Stableman, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Drenna decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Scribe but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody.
