Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Paelias embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Paelias was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Darrak lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student he started as a Server, but he got bored and became a Miner. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is greedy.
