Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Healer who has hired her part-time. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Mardred is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. One day when Mardred was young, her mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly her mother dropped to the ground dead. Her mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Mardred was heart-stricken from the event, and her father started working long hours to provde for them. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: She is a Gardener first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for her, and Shax does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Shax was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has achieved small success as a Gardener.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing her hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He got into the Miner business at a young age. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

His copper eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born in a small plains village. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
