History: Born in the east to a Interpreter, Watson learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to be a courier again

She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tanner. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
