History: She comes from a rich northern family. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This tall, slender man usually wears his green robe and has his glaive always slung over his shoulder. His long dark red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His white eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Heian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Hunter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Oloric was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. A true patriot, Torbera would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student she started as a Baker, but she got bored and became a Glassblower. She's also a talented Baker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
