Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Ilanis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Warlock, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She found a children's book about a Elf Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Being a Miner kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
