History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. After coming to the age of reason, Kaladan took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Kaladan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Finellen. Being a Weaver kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
