Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Performer responsibilities is difficult; and doesn't want to be a performer and was forced into it by her family

History: Serpent hails from a village terrorized by brigands. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Serpent was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.
