His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Map Maker business.

History: Erky hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dragonborn activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dragonborn doctor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

After coming to the age of reason, Gargax took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.
