However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: Valida was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. A gifted student she started as a Animal Trainer, but she got bored and became a Fortune-teller. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
