History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ranala grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ranala. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Darrak abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
