History: Kadana hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rurik embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and he wants revenge against giants

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. Chay is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: She was born in a small plains village. She worked as a nervous Doctor and found it very stressful. She was granted druidic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: To be a Locksmith again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Henry's homeland. Henry decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She got into the Mason business at a young age. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mason and was forced into it by her family.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Liftrasa will drive conversation. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.

History: Born to a Detective, her father struggled to pay the bills. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people.
