She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Quick wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

Personality: He is mildly Tabaxi supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
