History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she is well dressed, constantly wearing a violet suit, blue shirt, and green tie. Her hair is red and curly. Her eyes are green and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Oriel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a whip on his belt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'3" when asserting himself. He wears his silver crest down. He has gleaming, smiling gold eyes.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Marastyr was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. After a long history of fighting, Marastyr and her spouse have recently divorced.
