Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Varis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears yellow painted combat armor at almost all times. She has shaved her head bald. Her amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her golden hair is cut short. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are blue.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Alex was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has achieved small success as a Gardener.

After coming to the age of reason, Robbie took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
