History: Kilvar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Tricking was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She's in love; and she wants to get laid

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paggen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paggen. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. A true patriot, Aym would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Aym was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she's looking for her big break

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Kristryd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
