Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.
History: She was born in a small forest village. Jezean liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by her family; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Barkeep, but he got bored and became a Locksmith. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alston embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
