Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and to be a carter again

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her ears are large.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ea does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Ea was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His first spouse was a Miller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to settle down with his crush
