History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Shanairla was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shanairla's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shanairla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has worked as a Mason like her father before her.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and balancing her hectic life and new mason responsibilities is difficult

Description: This slender man stands about 4'5". He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He wears his white hair up in a very large beehive style do. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. Vondal is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vondal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When Adrik reached his early adolescence his Dwarf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Horza embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Orcs. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in the south. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
