Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Avice was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dyer and was forced into it by her family.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Five was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. A friendly and beautiful Gnome, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She found a children's book about a Gnome Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
